The Beach to Beacon, formally known as TD Banknorth Beach to Beacon is a ten kilometer race that takes place at Cape Elizabeth, Maine. The first year that the race took place was in 1998 with over three thousand runners that participated. The event has gotten very popular and now over five thousand five hundred runners compete in this race.
