  • Plot

When Mike (Mos Def) is charged with managing Mr. Fletcher's (Danny Glover) video store, his eccentric friend Jerry (Jack Black) inadvertently erases all the tapes. Under scrutiny by Miss Falewicz (Mia Farrow) and terrified of letting down Mr. Fletcher, Mike and Jerry remake Ghostbusters with their own props and costumes. After the videos become an unexpected success, local residents begin to pay a lot of money to rent them. They purport that the edited movies are from Sweden to justify the time and cost of producing them, and soon get the entire community involved in a film project.
