Baywatch was an extremely popular American television show set in Malibu CA. The show ran from 1989-2001. According the Guinness Book of World Records, the show is the most watched television program of all time with a global audience of more than 1 billion viewers.
The show starred David Hasselhoff and many young, beautiful women including Pamela Anderson, Yasmine Bleeth, Gena Lee Nolin, Traci Bingham, Carmen Electra, Donna DErrico and Brande Roderick. Baywatch was so popular that it has been parodied countless times in popular culture.
Show's History
David Hasselhoff, the former star of Knight Rider, was the only consistant face on the show. He invested some of his own money in Baywatch after NBC cancelled the show after its first season. Once in syndication, the show did so well that the contract was renewed, with Hasslehoff as an executive producer.

Sean's Australian friend suggests he leave Baywatch and start a lifeguard organization down under. Suddenly the two are nearly hit by a runaway boat. Sean is hit in the face by his paddleboard and knocked out. Zack jumps on the runaway boat and shuts it down while JD rescues Sean.
Sean seriously considers going to Australia, but he has feelings for Leigh so he is torn. Sean decides to make a move on Leigh to see if she is worth staying for. He discovers that he waited too long and Leigh is engaged to Sam. So Sean decides to go to Australia.
Sam invites Sean to his bachelor party, but Sean says no. At the wedding, Leigh is about to walk down the aisle when Sam comes and tells her he is being deployed with the military. Sean gets there late and is relieved to find out the wedding is postponed.
