Baywatch was an extremely popular American television show set in Los Angeles, CA that ran from 1989-2001. According the Guinness Book of World Records, the show is the most watch television program of all time, with a global audience of more than 1 billion viewers. The show starred David Hasselhoff and many young, beautiful women, including Pamela Anderson, Yasmine Bleeth, Gena Lee Nolin, Traci Bingham, Carmen Electra, Donna D'Errico and Brande Roderick. Baywatch was so popular that it has been parodied countless times in popular culture.

Show's History
David Hasselhoff, the former star of Knight Rider, was the only consistant face on the show. He invested some of his own money in Baywatch after NBC cancelled the show after its first season. Once in syndication, the show did so well that the contract was renewed, with Hasslehoff as an executive producer. -
