With their dark, gloomy sound and horror inspired costumes and stage show, the band emerged on the English rock scene with their 1979 single "Bela Lugosi's Dead". After a number of successful singles and albums, the band broke up in 1983. The band reunited in 2005 and released a new studio album, entitled Go Away White, was released in March 2008.
