About Battlefield: Bad Company
The original Bad Company put players in the role of a soldier thrust into the ranks of the "B" Company of the U.S. military during a fictional war between Russia and the United States. The "B" Company is composed of the least upstanding soldiers in the military, a group of military misfits whose main function is to serve as human shields for the more qualified soldiers. The player takes control of a private named Preston Marlowe who is assigned to Bad Company after damaging a helicopter while taking it out for a joy-ride.
Gameplay has a few key features. 92 percent of the environments in Bad Company are destructible using different weapons, which makes for spur-of-the-moment strategic tactics involving the environment, like blowing up a wall to reveal a sniper or destroying barriers to create ambush sites. There are also various classes in the game that specialize in the use of specific weapons. Finally, vehicles play a large part in the gameplay. There are tanks, boats, choppers, golf carts and more in both single-player and multiplayer. According to developers, Bad Company 2 will expand on this established gameplay formula.
