Battlefield 2142

Battlefield 2142 is a first person shooter game, and the fourth game in the Battlefield series. It is set in the 22nd century during the new ice age. The game was designed for multi-player, online game play, allowing for up to 64 players on a single server.

The game has two gameplay modes, Conquest and Titan. The Titan mode can be used to play online multi-player games. There are four playable classes including Assault, with the main weapons an assult rifle with rocket or shot gun add-ons, Recon, with the main weapons a sniper rifle or an automatic carbine, Engineer, with main weapons a rocket launcher and sub-machine gun, and Support, with the main weapons of a machine gun and shotgun.

During the Conquest game play, two teams fight one another, working to capture and defend spawnpoints, which are represented by flags. Teams holding the most flags initiate a ticket drain on the opposite team. Each time a solider dies, a respawn ticket is removed, although teammates may revive the wounded with a defibrillator. The team which loses all their respawn tickets loses the game. There are four different game types in Conquest mode, including Head-on, Conquest, Assault Lines and Double Assault Lines.

During the Titan mode, each team is attempting to destroy the opposing teams Titan, while trying to defend their own. A Titan is a large, heavily-armored, flying warship. It has a force field surrounding it, which must first be destroyed before it may be boarded. Titans are able to be moved by the team's Commander. Once players are able to board the Titan, they then work on destroying the hull, giving them 30 seconds to abandon it, before it explodes.
