Battle: Black Ops Trailer

Battle: Black Ops Trailer is a re-cut from the trailer and hotly-anticipated film entitled Battle: Los Angeles, which is scheduled for release in 2011. Battle: Black Ops also uses the Call of Duty: Black Ops footage overtop Battle: Los Angeles's musical score. The music is from the Johann Johannsson song, called "The Sun's Gone Dim". Call of Duty: Black Ops is a first-person shooter video game, developed by Treyarch. The game was released on November 9, 2010 for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii. The game was rated M for Mature and was published by Activision. http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/action/callofduty7workingtitle/index.html?tag=result%3Btitle%3B0

With the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops on November 9, 2010 in North America and the U.K., first day sales for the game totaled $360 million dollars. Activision hailed it as the biggest launch in gaming entertainment, surpassing even the most blockbuster of movie titles, such as Avatar. http://www.joystiq.com/2010/11/11/call-of-duty-black-ops-day-one-sales/

Background

Aside from the compelling campaign, Call of Duty: Black Ops has a variety of modes, including Treyarch’s unique Zombies Mode, putting players in a setting overrun by the hungry dead. The famous multiplayer mode is back with addictive and competitive matches like the Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag.http://www.callofduty.com/blackops/

Call of Duty: Black Ops is considered the seventh game in the Call of Duty franchise. Infinity Ward developed Call of Duty from the beginning with the first two that took place during the World War II. Treyarch’s developers stood in for Call of Duty 3. A sequel was a must as Infinity Ward took the series into a different direction with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The later sequels began to ignore the sequel numbers in their title. http://www.treyarch.com/

Infinity Ward has been rumored to depart from the Call of Duty franchise and develop their own series based on their complete success with the Modern Warfare spin-offs, leaving Treyarch to helm future sequels for Activision.http://gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2010/04/23/four-more-join-infinity-ward-exodus-seven-respawn.aspx
