Battalion Wars is a real-time strategy game for Nintendo GameCube based on the war between the Western Frontier and the Tundran Territories. Before being renamed Battalion Wars, it was known as Advance Wars: Under Fire.

Story
The Tundran Forces began war with the Western Frontier. A third force, the Xylvanians, enter the war to take advantage of the weakened state of the Tundran and Western Frontier forces. The Tundran Force and Western Frontier join together to defeat their common enemy. The story progresses through a series of cut-scenes and in-game reactions.Gameplay
Battalion Wars is a mixture of third-person shooter and real time strategy game (RTS). Players micro-manage soldiers, land vehicles, and aircrafts. Players can control units as well as individual soldiers. All actions are executed in real-time.
