About the Game
Batman: Arkham Asylum is set entirely within the confines of Arkham Asylum, the psychiatric institute for the criminally insane located on the outskirts of Gotham City. The Joker has taken over the asylum and, of course, Batman must clear him out. A number of other heroes and villains make an appearance in the game, including The Riddler, Penguin and Commissioner Gordon.The story for was written by Paul Dini, producer and writer for a number of animated series. In addition to the action combat style, Arkham Asylum adds a bit of detective work to the gameplay. Besides being an action hero, Batman is a sleuth who must use some logical thinking to solve puzzles and navigate the threatening halls of the Asylum. Of course, he will have access to his utility belt, which contains any number of gadgets and tools.
