April 23, 2009: An advertisement in PlayStation Home revealed that PS3 owners will be receiving a downloadable content pack for Batman Arkham Asylum that lets them play as The Joker. Challenge Mode

The Challenge Mode in Batman Arkham Asylum serves as a robust substitute to the game's absence of multiplayer. Story is left behind and Batman is given the opportunity to just bust some skulls. Each map has a different theme and the player will be given different objectives to accomplish. For example, in the Silent Knight Challenge Mode, Batman has to take out thugs using the Batarang, his glide kick attack and using stealth.
