About Harley Quinn
The character of Harley Quinn first appeared in the Batman: The Animated Series, where she was intended to be just a temporary walk-on character. She soon began appearing in different animated episodes and proved so popular that she was added to the Batman comic book.Harley Quinn has an odd, mostly one-sided, romantic relationship with The Joker. They have known each other since she was a young psychology student in college, and he later secretly paid off her tuition. At one time, they even almost got married. But The Joker is usually very abusive towards Harley Quinn and often treats her with complete disdain. At the slightest sign of affection from her love interest, however, Harley Quinn is immediately back at his side. In more recent comics, Harley declares that she and The Joker have broken up, after she discovered that he was planning her death.DCAU Wiki: Harley Quinn Wikipedia: Harley Quinn
