Basquiat is a movie about the life of the young and talented painter Jean Michel Basquiat. Basquiat, who starts out as a street artist, is discovered by Andy Warhol and becomes a star. Jeffrey Wright plays the role of Jean Michel Basquiat. Other noticable roles are David Bowie who plays the role of Andy Warhol, Benicio Del Toro and Dennis Hopper. The movie was released in 1996.
