"Basketball Wives" brings you a behind the scenes look at the glitz and glamor of the life of a professional Basketball player's wife/girlfriend. The series also brings you dramas such as dealing with groupies and also the tensions that can arise whilst the players are away playing NBA games.

Shaunie O’Neal (Executive Producer) quoted : “Having been around these remarkable women for several years, I have always recognized that behind every NBA star is a strong, exceptional woman, one who must deal with the unique challenges of being married to the game as well as the player.”

The reality show follows the day-to-day lives of six women who are married or engaged to NBA stars, or who have children with them.

The show starts with an introduction to all the personalities on Basketball Wives and there are a lot of them.

Shaunie O'Neal meets Gloria and there is tension from Gloria because there have been rumors that Gloria had an affair with Shaquille O'Neal. O'Neal tries to diffuse the situation.

Next Royce Reed performs the erotic dance, which caused such a sensation on the Internet. This was a t a pre-superbowl party. This causes shock amongst some of the other Basketball wives. "She’s a maniac, God bless her." Evelyn says. Royce Reed reviews her performance the next day and is happy and makes sure the video is distributed via blogs, etc Evelyn Lozada is concerned that the Royce Reed dance will taint all of the Basketball Wives reputations.

The girls finish the episode by some of them going out shoe shopping. Reed clearly not enjoying it wails "I just want to go home!", Evelyn Lozada replies with "Just be quiet."

The girls all attend the 34th birthday party of Evelyn Lozada. During the show, Lozada talks about here concerns on inviting Reed, she is concerned what she will do and says "she always does something involving her vagina". Lozada goes out shopping for the party with a man-friend who talks about loving her boobs in her new outfit.

The show features a point where Eric Williams and Jennifer Williams go out for dinner. Eric talks about how Jennifer has been spending all of her recent time with Evelyn Lozada. Eric/Jennifer then talk openly about Eric's past infidelity.

Jennifer Williams bumps into Rashidah and there is a minor verbal confrontation.

Royce Reed arrives at the party and she has brought her Fantashique burlesque dance group with her. They perform a sexy, crotch-centric routine. Evelyn Lozada comments about the video "She kind of looks like a little girl, but then she’s thrusting her vagina everywhere…it’s just weird.” Another week of Basketball Wives is now complete.

The show starts with a recap of last weeks events including the verbal spat between Jennifer Williams and Rashidah.

Evelyn Lozada and Jeniifer Williams take a trip to Orlando to meet Gloria. The three have a meal out and Gloria annoys the other two by talking about her rock solid relationship with "Matt Barnes". Tiger Woods and his infidelities ends up being a major talking point at the dinner table.

Shaunie O'Neal has ordered Jennifer Williams to take Royce Reed shopping. The Basketball Wives are going to an important party and Shaunie wants to make sure that Royce Reed looks fir for the occasion (and not trashy!). Jennifer Williams jokes with Royce Reed that "given your frame we should be in a Children's store". Williams particularly talks about Reed's boobs and says "your back looks no different to your front". Reed replies with "You don’t need more than a handful". After some mutual holding of their own breasts, Williams suggests some help for Reed in the form of "Chicken Cutlets, basically bra stuffers.

Following the shopping trip Williams takes Reed to get her hair cut. Reed cries after the hairstyle is complete, "taken with her own beauty". Jennifer reports back "My good deed for the day was showing Royce what it’s like to feel good about herself". Reed helped Williams by "giving Jennifer the opportunity to pat herself on the back".

Next the basketball wives attend a totally lame party. There are no celebs, it rains, everybody leaves early.

The show finishes with Reed in resilient mood. “I definitely think there’s a double standard when they call someone a groupie, because Evelyn kinda tried to stamp me as that, and I don’t look like that,” she says.

The second season of Basketball Wives started on December 12, 2010. The episode revealed that Suzie and Evelyn are no longer friends. Shaunie has all the ladies to lunch and Evelyn tells Suzie she is out of the group.
