Plot
The movie starts with two kids, Doug Reemer and Joe Cooper, or just Coop, who are best friends. They are at a baseball game and have always dreamed of becoming famous athletes. They end up inventing their own game: a mix between baseball and basketball. Trey Parker plays Coop and Matt Stone plays Reemer, and as adults, they are slackers. Suddenly, their strange sport becomes popular world-wide. Romance enters the story when Coop meets a woman named Jenna, played by Yasmine Bleeth who helps sick children. He ends up spending more time with her and eventually falling in love. Conflict occurs when Coop is offered a chance to make BASEketball bigger than ever, but along with the opportunity comes the necessity to sell out. He must deal with both his love interest and his business in the way he feels is best, but he runs the risk of losing his childhood best friend along the road.http://www.allwatchers.com/Topics/Info_8955.asp

The Rules of BASEketball
The idea for BASEketball was the notion of a combination of basketball and baseball. However, a lot more goes into the game than these sports. There are two teams with three players on each side. There are different squares on the court, and the placement of the square determines how many points you get for a shot. There are also bases on which players stand. If a player on offense shoots from the free-throw line and makes it, a player on first base will advance to second. If a two pointer is thrown, a person on base will advance two places and so on. If, however, you throw a "bunt," which is the closest position to the basket, runners will advance one base but the thrower will not get on base. This will count as one out. Three outs and offense will switch to defense and vice versa. All the defense can do to stop the motion of the other team's players on base is to "psych out" the offense. The only other defensive option is to tip the ball in if the opposing team missed the shot. This will count as an out, and sometimes as a double play. There are usually 9 innings and can go into extra innings if a tie-breaker is needed.http://baseketball.1colony.com/custom2.html
