Playing Career
Barry Trotz played for the Regina Pats of the WHL from 1979 to 1982. He played in 153 games scoring 14 goals and 49 assists. Trotz had a career high 34 points in 50 games during in 1981-82 season.hockeyDB.com: Career Stats and Coaching RecordCoaching Career
Barry Trotz began his coaching career as an assistant for the University of Manitoba Bisons in 1984. From 1985 to 1987, he was the head coach of the Dauphin Kings. Trotz returned to the University of Manitoba in 1987 to coach the Bisons.
