Barry Manilow is an American Singer and Songwriter whose career began in the 1970s. Among his most popular hits are Mandy and Copacabana .With record sales of more than 76 million records worldwide, Manilow is one of the most successful singer/songwriters in history. In 1978, five of his albums were on the best-selling charts simultaneously; a feat equaled only by Frank Sinatra and Johnny Mathis. He has recorded a string of Hit Singles and multi-platinum albums that have resulted in winning the American Music Award for Favorite Pop /Rock Male Artist three years in a row.
