    Barry Manilow is an American Singer and Songwriter whose career began in the 1970s. Among his most popular hits are Mandy and Copacabana .

    With record sales of more than 76 million records worldwide, Manilow is one of the most successful singer/songwriters in history. In 1978, five of his albums were on the best-selling charts simultaneously; a feat equaled only by Frank Sinatra and Johnny Mathis. He has recorded a string of Hit Singles and multi-platinum albums that have resulted in winning the American Music Award for Favorite Pop /Rock Male Artist three years in a row.
