Early Life
Barry Diller dropped out of University of California, Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. He got his start in the mail room of the William Morris Agency and made his way into corporate side of ABC, where he pioneered the concept of the movie-of-the-week.
Media Mogul
He then moved on to chair a number of large media corporations, which include Paramount and FOX. He is currently chairman of Expedia and CEO of IAC/InteractiveCorp, which is the parent company of Ticketmaster, Match.com, Citysearch, and CollegeHumor.
