Barret Jackman

  • Career Highlights

    Prior to playing in the NHL, Jackman played for the Regina Pats in the Western Hockey League, starting in 1997. He was then drafted 17th overall in the 1999 NHL Draft by the St. Louis Blues. Jackman made his NHL debut during the 2001-02 season, playing a single game with the Blues after playing the season with their American Hockey League affiliate, the Worcester IceCats. Jackman earned a full roster spot the next season, joining the team for all 82 regular season games plus seven playoff games. Jackman played in the United Hockey League for the Missouri River Otters during the 2004-05 NHL Lockout. Most recently, in 2008, Jackman signed a four year contract extension with the Blues.
