Baroque is a video game for the Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 2 that was released on April 8, 2008. Prior to April 8, the game was available for preorder on the Atlus website.
Baroque is a dungeon-scrolling role-playing game that takes place in a mysterious post-apocalyptic world. In the game, the main character (The Protagonist) awakens with amnesia into a bleak land overrun with meta-beings. He collects items and powerups to ward off these meta-beings and attempts to determine the truth behind his new surroundings. Whenever the Protagonist dies during the game, the player learns a little bit more about the plot of the game.
