The fort on Bare Island was built in 1885. Bare Island, Sydney Visitor's Guide
Bare Island is shown to visitors only through a guided tour. These guided tours take place every Sunday at 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm. Tours last about forty-five minutes. The cost is $10 per adult and $8 per child. However, there is also a family ticket that can save a family of four some money. The family ticket charge is $25, and it covers two adults and two children.
