Barcelona is Spain's second largest city (in terms of population) and the capitol of the region of Cataloni. Located on the Mediterranean coast, Barcelona is one of the major economic centers of Europe and a popular tourist destination for millions of visitors each year. Barcelona is known for having a rich cultural heritage and has many museums, such as the National Museum of Art of Catalunya and the Picasso Museum. One of Barcelona's greatest attractions, the Sagrada Familia, was originally designed and built by the famous Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi. Barcelona was also the home of the 1992 Summer Olympics.
