Barbra Streisand

Barbra Streisand is an Jewish-American singer and actress. Over the course of her singing career, Barbara Streisand has released over 45 albums. Her most recent film roles were in The Prince of Tides, The Mirror Has Two Faces and Meet the Fockers.

She was born on April 24, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from Erasmus Hall High School in 1959, but never enrolled in college. Barbara Streisand married actor Elliott Gould in 1963. The couple had a son, Jason Gould, before divorcing in 1971. On July 1, 1998, Barbara Streisand married actor James Brolin. Brolin has two children from previous relationships.

Barbara Streisand began singing in nightclubs as a teenager. She made her first television appearance in 1961 on The Tonight Show.
