For sixteen seasons Barbara Walters has produced a special featuring the "most fascinating" people of that year. In the 2008 episode, Walters included Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin, teen sensation Miley Cyrus, Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps and actor Will Smith.
