Barbara Mandrell is an American country singer who has released over 25 albums and 65 singles in her career. Her debut album, Treat Him Right, was released in 1971, and the country music superstar gained a great deal of notoriety throughout the 70s and 80s for a number of popular hits, including "Sleeping Single in a Double Bed." Mandrell has won a number of Country Music Association awards, including "Female Vocalist of the Year" and "Entertainer of the Year" on two different occasions.
