Bananas Foster is a dessert created by Paul Blange of Brennan's Restaurant. He created this recipe in 1951. It is made from a sauce which consists of cinnamon, brown sugar and butter. Bananas and banana liqueur is added then finally rum. The banana mixture is then served over ice cream. Bananas Foster is a common item found on menus especially in New Orleans, Louisiana.
