Bambi is a 1942 Disney Animated Film that was based on the 1923 book Bambi, A Life in the Woods by Felix Salten.

The story of Bambi follows a white-tailed deer from fawnhood through to adulthood. Bambi learns to walk and experiences his first snow along side his friends, Thumper, rabbit and Flower, a skunk. As Bambi begins to grow up, he is out searching for food with his mother, at which time the music changes and a hunter appears. Bambi is seen searching for his mother, at which time his father briefly appears and tells him that his mother can no longer be with him. The movie then skips forward to when Bambi and his friends are grown up and have become "twitterpated" about mates. Bambi and Faline, another white-tailed deer become a couple, however Faline is being sought after by a buck, Ronno. Ronno and Bambi get into a fight, at which time Bambi throws Ronno from a cliff. At the end of the film, Bambi and Faline are seen with their two newborn fawns.
