Balderdash is a word bluffing, multi-player board game. The object is to guess the correct definition of a particular word from a list that includes fake definitions written by each player. Points are scored by correctly guessing who has given a real definition and by bluffing other players.
-
How to Play
- Players roll a die, with the highest roll goes first and is the "dasher".
- The dasher draws a definition card and rolls the die. They must choose which of the five words are to be used.
- The dasher will then writes the correct definition.
- Each player then attempts to write a real definition or could be a fictional definition.
- The players hand in their definitions and the dasher reads them aloud.
- Players write down which answer they believe is the correct definition.
- Players who wrote the correct definition get three points, for guessing the correct definition get two points and when other players guess their definition get one point.
- The dasher status is then passed to the next player.
