The winners of the BAFTA Awards for 2010 were announced on February 21, 2010 in London, United Kingdom. The big winner was The Hurt Locker, which won six awards of its eight nominations, including "Best Picture", "Best Director ", "Best Original Screenplay", "Best Cinematography", "Best Sound" and "Best Editing". James Cameron won two awards with his movie Avatar, for "Best Production Design" and "Best Visual Effects".
