The British singer-songwriter Damon Gough goes by the stage name Badly Drawn Boy. In the late 1990s, Gough released a series of EPs on Twisted Nerve Records before releasing his first album, The Hour of Bewilderbeast, in June 2000. The album won considerable critical praise and was awarded the Mercury Prize for "Best Album."
