Badfinger was a pop, rock band in the 1960s, 70s and 80s. Considered one of the earliest bands in the power pop genre; they self destructed due to disreputable management, fighting, bankruptcy and two suicides.

The Iveys, later known as Badfinger, were discovered by The Beatles road manager Mal Evans. The band singed to Apple in 1968. They released four albums for the label before signing with Warner Brothers in 1972.
