Bad Company 3 is an unconfirmed video game that appeared on a leaked E3 2010 list with the titles that could be announced at this trade show for video games. The list was originally posted on a website from Russia and it contains major titles such as: Little Big Planet 2, God of War 3 Afterfall, Road Rash HD, Fahrenheit 2 and even Call of Duty MMO.
As the list contains some discrepancies, it was labeled as fake by most of the video games forums and websites, because some of the titles it contains have been denied by developers (ex: Fahrenheit 2). In addition to that the list wasn’t confirmed by any E3 officials and some of the games (ex: Mass Effect 3) are categorized to be developed and published by different companies, in our case, Mass Effect 3 will be published by Sony.http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/896150-rumour-list-of-games-for-e3-2010/
The debates regarding these titles started because even if there are some errors on the list, some of the games from it, have been confirmed to appear at E3 (ex: Little Big Planet 2 and Guitar Hero 6).
Since Bad Company 3 is on the list, opinions regarding a possible release of this title are divided because Battlefield: Bad Company 2 was released on March 2, 2010 while E3 2010 takes place in June 2010, therefore the short time between the latest episode of the series and a new one is the main reason. On the other hand, players are hoping to be another error on the list and instead of Bad Company 3 it should be Battlefield 3. According to gamingunion.net, Battlefield 3 is under development but the release date is unknown. Fredrik Liliegren confirmed this title in an interview posted on February 22, 2010:
What the PC version is going to be, Battlefield 3, I think it's going to absolutely blow everyone away, but I can't tell you what it is, but it will blow people away. http://www.gamingunion.net/news/battlefield-3-will-absolutely-blow-everyone-away--1075.html
Fredrik Liliegren was CEO of DICE between 1988 and 2000. DICE is also known as EA Digital Illusions CE and is also the developer of Battlefield franchise but even with Liliegren’s statement there is still no official information that Battlefield 3 will appear at E3 2010.
