Bad Company

  • Bad Company was an early example of a classic rock supergroup, combining former members of Free, King Crimson, Mott the Hoople. The blues rock band formed in England and were managed by Led Zeppelin manager Peter Grant. They enjoyed success throughout the mid- to late-'70s with hits like "Can't Get Enough," "Feel Like Makin' Love," and "Shooting Star."

In 1986, four years after breaking up in 1982, Bad Company reunited with Brian Howe on vocals in place of Paul Rodgers (former lead vocalist of Free). Howe was replaced by Robert Hart in 1995, but Rodgers returned three years later and the band continued touring.

Rodgers moved on once again, however, to front Queen when they began touring without late singer Freddie Mercury. Queen announced in 2008 that they would be recording a new album with Rodgers as the singer.
