Background
Bad Boys II was directed by Michael Bay and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. It was the sequel to the surprise hit Bad Boys, which was Bay's big screen movie debut. Bruckheimer and Bay have also teamed together on Armageddon and Pearl Harbor. Bad Boys 2 had a budget of 130,000,000 dollars and had a running time of 147 minutes. The film received generally negative and mixed reviews. Notably Richard Roeper listed it as the worst movie of the year for 2003. But the film is notable for it's impressive special effects and the affable on screen chemistry of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.Cast
