After the Final Rose is a follow-up episode to the season finale of The Bachelor. Normally the episode is a platform that reunites the bachelor with the woman he chose to be his wife. Viewers watched Jake Pavelka propose to Vienna in The Bachelor FInale. After the Final Rose will provide follow up for the fans to know what has gone on since the time of the proposal. The finale aired on March 1, 2010.

After spending a few moments discussing how he chose Vienna over Tenley, Jake told her she has a friend for life. Tenley expressed that she felt she and Jake had a spark in the relationship but Jake said the spark was with Vienna.

After Tenley, departed Jake and Vienna were serenaded by Jeffery Osborne singing the theme song "On the Wings of Love. The couple was offered the chance to go back to St Lucia to the place where Jake proposed by Chris Harrison, the show's host. St Lucia is where the final two episodes of the season were filmed.

Vienna confirmed on After the Final rose that the last three months have been tough not being able to let anyone know what was going on. Initial reports said she would be moving to Texas to join Jake but at the end of the show Jake was announced as a contestant on Dancing With the Stars. Updates following the announcement said Jake and Vienna would be traveling to LA for the show filming
