The products were sold between October 2004 and December 2009 at retailers including Target, Walmart and Toys 'R' Us, Babies 'R' Us, Kmart, Sears, and Burlington Coat Factory, among others.http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSSGE60J0KA20100120 The strollers sold for $80-$90. Consumers are urged to stop using the strollers and get the necessary repair kit produced by Graco Children's Prodcuts, Inc. They are offering a free repair kit that covers the hinges to keep childrens fingers safe. They also offer an instructional video to show how to properly install the hinge cover.
Graco Children's Products, Inc. has previously recalled stollers in 2005 and 2001. The 2005 recall happened because the strollers had faulty latches that would cause the stroller to randomly collapse and injure children. 230 children were injured. The 2001 recall was similar with the strollers or car seats collapsing or falling to the ground and injuring children. 250 children were injured.

How to Identify Recalled Graco Strollers and Install Safety Cover
This video shows how to identify strollers that have been recalled by Graco and how to install the protective cover. There is only one type of canopy that will cause injury to children. If you have the second kind of canopy, your stroller is not part of the recall. The protective cover kit is free and can be ordered on their website.
