The Walt Disney Company is offering refunds on Baby Einstein videos purchased between June 5, 2004 and September 5, 2009. These videos are eligible for $15.99 refunds for up to four DVDs per household. The DVDs must be returned to Disney. Submissions for refunds must be postmarked by March 4, 2010. The Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood claims that the refunds are being given as the result of a settlement between Disney and CCFC. The group claims that Disney engaged in unfair and deceptive practices in marketing the videos as educational products. Baby Einstein Crib Toy Recall

In February, 2008 thousands of Baby Einstein crib toys were recalled because they posed a potential choking hazard. The "Baby Neptune Soothing Seascape" crib toys were declared a potential danger because the anchors that hold the straps on the back could detach. The Walt Disney Company recalled over a half million toys on October 4, 2007, due to concerns of dangerous lead content. The toys include Baby Einstein and Pirates of the Caribbean products.
