A baby bouncer is a seat designed for infants that allows them to "bounce" with their movements. It is designed for babies from birth to approximately six months old. The bouncing motions work to soothe the infants, feeling much as they did inside of the womb. Many baby bouncers now come with an option to vibrate or play music. There are toy bars available in some models that give the baby toys to keep them entertained. Parents should be advised that although the seat straps the infant in, they should not be left unattended for safety issues.
