Baby bottles are a plastic or glass feeding accessories used as an alternative to breast feeding. They assist in feeding before an infant is able to use a cup. Bottles come in a variety of sizes, ranging from the ability to hold between two to nine ounces of liquid. Nipples are available in a number of materials and shapes. The most common nipples are made of latex or plastic.
Safety
Between each use a baby bottle must be sterilized to ensure there is no bacteria that will make the infant sick. In order to sterilize a bottle, it must be boiled, put into a sterilization machine or washed in a dishwasher in order to expose the bottle to high temperature water.
