After being lied down for a short period of time, the baby will fall asleep. To wake the baby up, press the button on the babies bracelet. They are available in three skin tones to represent a Caucasian, African-American and Hispanic baby. The Hispanic style dolls have the ability to switch between English and Spanish-speaking.

In order to feed a Baby Alive doll, you must mix a package of Baby Alive food and 15mL of water. You must ensure the doll has a diaper on because the food will exit the baby and make a mess. After feeding the doll, ensure you feed her a bottle of water to assist in cleaning out the doll, or food can get stuck inside her.
