B Team

B Team, starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, is an action-comedy film. Sony acquired the rights to the film in February 2009 despite that fact the script was not yet complete. • Screenwriter Chris Hechy works for Gary Sanchez Productions (GSP), a company owned by Adam McKay and Will Ferrell. Hechy is the co-executive producer of the GSP-produced East Bound & Down (HBO) and he co-wrote Land of the Lost, a summer 2009 film starring Will Ferrell. Henchy was also the co-executive producer of Entourage for several seasons. • Will Ferrell was a Saturday Night Live cast member from 1995-2006. Since leaving the late night comedy show, Ferrell has appeared in several films including, Old School, Austin Powers, Zoolander and Elf. He also had small but memorable roles in Wedding Crashers and Starsky & Hutch. • Nominated for an Academy Award for his role in The Departed, Mark Wahlberg first gained fame as the singer "Marky Mark". After his success with his band Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, particularly with the single "Good Vibrations", Wahlberg moved on as an underwear model. Wahlberg and Kate Moss were featured in a highly publicized ad campaign shot by Herb Ritts for Calvin Klein. Wahlberg then transitioned into film, including Boogie Nights, The Perfect Storm, Rock Star and Three Kings.
