Ayla Brown is the daughter of Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown and WBZ reporter Gail Huff and is currently graduating from Boston College where she was a member of the Division I Lady Eagles basketball team. Ayla was a former American Idol contestant of season 5 and is now an accomplished recording artist with three albums and multiple singles to her credit. Her third album called Circles was released in April 2010. Ayla is also a "Special Contributor" to the CBS's The Early Show.
Career
Ayla Brown, one of the top female players in the history of Massachusetts high school basketball, is a two-time recipient of the Gatorade Player of the Year award. Finishing her high school career as the captain of the team, she was scouted to play forward for the Boston College Lady Eagles on a full athletic scholarship.
Brown auditioned for American Idol in Boston in 2005. She was one of the 24 semi-finalists of the fifth season and eliminated during the top 16 performance week.
Following her Idol departure, Brown appeared at many events before beginning her basketball career with the Lady Eagles with the second highest average of the team.
In addition to her debut album, Forward, Ayla Brown is featured on the American Christmas compilation album with other past Idol contestants. Her second release was titled Ayla Brown Live!, a collection of live tracks. She is also expected to release a studio album, Circles, scheduled for an April 6, 2010 release. An album tour is still being scheduled.

Ayla's New Album Circles
It has been reported on Ayla Brown's myspace page that Ayla's new album Circles will be available for download January 26, 2010 on Itunes, with a physical release of the album in the Spring. There are five songs on the new CD. To coincide with this event, Ayla will also be appearing on The Early Show on January 26, 2010.
