Ayelet Zurer is an Israeli actress who made her major American film debut in the Steven Spielberg film Munich alongside Daniel Craig and Eric Bana. She plays opposite Tom Hanks as the only female lead in Angels and Demons, the prequel to The Da Vinci Code.

Career Highlights
Zurer won the Israeli Film Academy's "Best Actress" award in 2003 for her role as "Nina" in the film Asonot Shel Nina, Ha. In 2006, she won the Israeli Television Academy's "Best Actress" award for her part in the movie BeTipul.In 2008, Zurer shared the screen with Dennis Quaid, Sigourney Weaver and Matthew Fox in Vantage Point, and with Jeff Goldblum in Adam Resurrected.
She was cast as the female lead, Vittoria Vetra, in the Angels and Demons movie, opposite Tom Hanks. In the film, Vittoria's father has been murdered; she and Robert Langdon (Hanks) must decipher clues and search the city to find his killer and stop the ancient cult of Illuminati from destroying the Catholic Church.
