Axl Rose is the lead singer of the American rock band Guns N' Roses. He rode to success with the band during the 1980s and 1990s, and is still currently active with the group. Rose, working with an entirely new group of musicians, finally released the band's eagerly awaited new album, Chinese Democracy, on November 23, 2008.
