The show is set in an Asian-influenced world of martial arts and elemental magic. The series is written in the manner of a book, with each episode serving as a chapter.
A live-action movie adaptation of the series is written, directed and produced by M. Night Shyamalan. The film is expected to be released on July 2, 2010.
