An autoimmune disease or disorder is a condition in which the immune system cannot differentiate between healthy tissue and cells and diseased ones, and thus the body begins to attack itself. Different autoimmune disorders attack the body in different ways, resulting in symptoms that can very widely from one autoimmune disorder to another.
Symptoms

Depending on the type of autoimmune disorder, symptoms will vary. Because there are so many different autoimmune diseases and disorders, no one set of symptoms fits all of them.
Many autoimmune disorders share widespread pain and chronic fatigue as common base symptoms.
