Autism Awareness Month is celebrated every year in April. It was designed to provide awareness for autism among families, friends, and the community as a whole. Autism Awareness Month is sponsored by the Autism Society of America. Many individuals and communities can participate in activities sponsored by their ASA local chapter. Participation can also be done by promoting autism related services.
