Austin Texas Plane Crash at the Echelon Building on February 18, 2010, creates havoc. http://www.cnn.com/2010/US/02/18/texas.plane.crash/index.html?hpt=T1 At 10 am est., a small single engine CIrrus SR 22 plane hit the Echelon building, which contains some Federal offices. The FBI, which is in an adjacent building rushed to the scene to begin interviews.
Eyewitnesses on the scene reported heavy smoke pouring from the building according to the local news station. http://www.kxan.com/dpp/news/small-plane-hits-echelon-on-mopac-183?hpt=T1 At least 2 civilians were taken to area hospitals; there was no list of names or injuries released. Firefighters on the scene reported the front of the building was on fire, and it appears that the fire is on the first and second floors of the Echelon building.

History
The Echelon Building in Austin Texas houses many federal agencies such as the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) but Homeland Security officials on site do not believe this is terrorist related. This building also houses the Scientific Investigation and Instruction Institute whose offices sustained damages. http://www.si3.org/
The man who crashed in to the office building is Joseph Andrew Stack according to a report published the MediaElites website. http://mediaelites.com/?tag=echelon-building. This report states the man had set fire to his own home and then drove to the airport where he got into his private plane.
It is also reported that Mr. Stack made more than one pass around the building before he intentionally crashed it into the Echelon Building in Austin, Texas.
