Austin Daye College Career
Daye played basketball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs for two seasons. The Bulldogs went to the NCAA tournament and were upset by the Davidson Wildcats in the opening round.
In the 2008 – 2009 season, Daye played in 34 games, scoring 431 points and gathering 232 rebounds for the Bulldogs. He had a season high 28 points against Santa Clara in an 83 to 58 rout. The Bulldogs again went to the NCAA tournament, where they made it all the way to the Elite Eight, where they lost to the North Carolina Tar Heels 98 to 77.
