Augusta ME

Augusta is the capital city of the state of Maine. It is located on the Kennebec River in the northeastern part of the United States. It has an estimated population of 18,560 people. Augusta was named after statesman Henry Dearborn's daughter, Augusta Dearborn. Augusta was established in the year of 1754. Augusta is home to the University of Maine at Augusta.

Summers are mild in Augusta with an average temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the month of July. Winters are harsh with temperatures averaging at around 23 degrees Fahrenheit.
